The Art Behind Our A Static Lullaby Designs
Every design in our store comes from the A Static Lullaby world, and a lot of them point back to one record: our 2003 debut, ...And Don't Forget to Breathe. Here's what each one shows, front and back.
Which designs are about the debut album?
- Anchor: the band name in tall cream capitals on the front, and a rope-ringed anchor under AND DON'T FORGET TO BREATHE on the back.
- ADFTB Ribcage: just ADFTB on the front, and a ribcage full of red butterflies on the back.
- Breathe Collage: the swashed logo over red and black grunge on the front, and a full collage with the album title on the back.
- Anatomy Breathe: the red logo on the front, and an anatomy drawing wrapped in the album title on the back.
- Lungs Collage: a faded anatomy picture of lungs and a spine, crossed by the band name and the album title.
What about the logo designs?
- Logo: the swashed A curling around the band name, big and clear in charcoal.
- Blue Butterfly: the name in yellow capitals with a small blue butterfly on the end.
Which ones are the most graphic?
- Red Eye: a comic-book half face with one red eye and a tear, next to a tower block.
- Broken Heart Wings: two winged skeleton hands holding the halves of a broken heart, in thin coral lines.
- Scream: a horror-poster mix of a screaming face, a figure with two axes, red splatter and the name in dripping green letters.
Tip: check the back
Four of these are two-sided: Anchor, ADFTB Ribcage, Breathe Collage and Anatomy Breathe. The product page always says what is on the front and on the back.
Every product page also has its own size chart.
